I just stood there and watched them work their magic.
I really like this one of the little bee coming in for a landing.
I am definitely going to plant more sunflowers next year! The bees need all of the help they can get!
Daisies
by Evaleen Stein
At evening when I go to bed
I see the stars shine overhead;
They are the little daisies white
That dot the meadow of the Night.
And often while I'm dreaming so,
Across the sky the Moon will go;
It is a lady, sweet and fair,
Who comes to gather daisies there.
For, when at morning I arise,
There's not a star left in the skies;
She's picked them all and dropped them down
Into the meadows of the town.
Stunning pics! I love it when the bees come out too...the big fat fuzzy ones. Although I can't grow sunflowers too well where I am, I have bumblebees all over my catmint bushes...I just love hearing them buzz while I garden!

ReplyDeleteYou did great with those pictures. So pretty! Almost all of my sunflowers died this year... I've never had problems with them before.
ReplyDeleteMy hard drive crashed on my NEW computer so I will be scarce on the blogging... I have my old laptop but it gets hot and shuts down so thus I have to wait until my beast gets fixed to be really bloggy again. :(
Great photos. Love the close ups of the bees. We have lots of flowers around here for the bees. They love them,the garden too.
