You can never have too many flowers

DSC04614

I think this came from the wildflower mix I sprinkled near my garden this past spring. I'm not sure just what kind it is but I love it. It's so delicate and sweet.

Does anyone know what kind it is? Julia? Anyone? :0)

This my entry for this week.

  2. Well I am not quite sure seeing as I am not quite an expert on ornamentals. Give me a week and I can ace it!! Kind of looks like a zinnia cross if I had to put a guess out there. The number of petals on your flower is amazing. Good portrait.

  10. A flower's appeal is in its contradictions, so delicate in form yet strong in fragrance, so small in size yet big in beauty, so short in life yet long on effect.

If I'm not mistaken it is a dahlia. Dahlias have many varieties....this might be one.
Anyway, have fun and keep a song in your heart, Lee.

  12. I don't have a clue but, it's beautiful. I am so envious that you live in a part of the U.S. that flowers just grow so beautifully.
