I found this guy while I was weeding my garden today. I've never seen a bug like this before!

My daughter noticed this little lady was resting up after a long day of eating aphids off of my roses. I had to grab my camera and snap her picture!

I noticed that my very first Nasturtium is about to bloom! The flower didn't come out very clear but I love the drops of water.

The Accidental Carrot and a Few Other Garden Photos

While I was planting my garden I accidentally spilled my carrot seeds. This one is growing under my sunflower.

I bought the wrong kind of peas. I thought that I got bush peas. Now, I need to build something for them to climb.

My sunflowers are going crazy!

My husband transplanted this Lily. We didn't think it would survive.



My husband said he liked the shape of this one.

And look, I have a strawberry! Now I just hope I can just keep those pesky slugs away!

I Have Bitten Off More Than I Can Chew!

It started out innocently enough. I just wanted to put up a new wallpaper border in my kitchen.
See, isn't this just the cutest!




It ends up that there are several layers of wallpaper and paint up there.

I don't doubt that I am breathing in lead paint dust!

Oh, and black mold spores since I also found some water damage that we couldn't see UNTIL NOW.

I am so glad I thought of this new border idea!

I Heart Faces Week 21 Theme Happy Birthday

This photo was taken at Red Lobster. My daughter insisted that she wanted to go there for her birthday and try lobster. I just love the facial expressions in this photo!
